NBT Welcomes New Board Member

Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs® (NBT), the foundation of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association (FMA), Elgin, IL., welcomes Nicole M. Wolter to its board of directors for a two-year term.  

A skilled and seasoned leader, Wolter is president/CEO of HM Manufacturing, Wauconda, Ill., a manufacturer of turnkey power transmission components for the aerospace and defense, medical, packaging, and food and beverage processing industries.  

With numerous awards, publications, and certifications under her belt, Wolter is a valuable go-to source for business and manufacturing media to promote manufacturing in the U.S. Serving as immediate past chairman of the Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA) executive board and on the boards of directors for the National Association of Manufacturing (NAM), American Gear Manufacturing Association (AGMA), and MHub, she is an influential voice in helping promote legislation and public policies designed to stimulate industry growth.  

Wolter is invested in supporting the next generation of manufacturing leaders and advancing the manufacturing industry as a whole. Through her service on the TMA Education Foundation board, she coordinates grants to area high schools with manufacturing programs, and as a McHenry High School Advisory Board member, she helps the school’s manufacturing program, offers internships, and mentors students about careers in manufacturing.
